Welcome to the Mini Lights (Girls) & Mini Storm (Youth Co-Ed) House Development Program. The First Step to Becoming a Lights or Nor'Easter player!

Our House Development Program is the foundation of Northern Connecticut Hockey and serves as the first step for players looking to join our CT Lights or Nor'Easter travel teams programs in the future! 

Players will build strong hockey fundamentals in a fun, positive, and challenging environment. Our professional coaching staff will help players develop essential skills such as skating, puck control, passing, shooting, and game awareness while fostering a love for the game. Ideal for players who are not ready for travel hockey but looking to continue developing their skills to prepare for the next level.

Mini Lights is a girls only program.

Mini Storm is co-ed and open to boys and girls.

For players ages 3 - 10

Some prior skating experience required.

Full equipment required. Equipment starter packages available at SIG Pro Shop.

Player jersey is included.

Session I: 9/23 through 10/31

Session II: 11/4 through 12/16. No session on 11/28 (Thanksgiving Weekend)

Session III: 1/6 through 2/13

$280 per session

Join all three (3) session for $750!

Twelve (12) skates per session

Player jersey included

* Optional scrimmages against local teams may be scheduled throughout the season for game introduction.

SIG Pro Shop at ISCC offers a complete new player starter package for $330, which includes: 

• Skates
• Helmet
• Neck guard
• Stick
• Gloves
• Elbow pads
• Shin pads
• Shoulder pads
• Hockey pants
• Socks
• Bag

Players interested in the starter package can visit the SIG Pro Shop at ISCC for equipment fitting and purchase.

Families who only need individual pieces of equipment can also visit SIG to purchase those items separately.
