Development Program
Ready for Hockey!
There are two options available to your new player to introduce the game and start on the hockey journey. Both in house programs will introduce hockey to help them get on their way!
First and Next Stride Programs are:
- Available to players ages 4 - 13
- Will be held on ISCC's new 60'x85' training rinks
- Full gear required
- Maximum of 20 skaters per rink/session
First Stride - Intro to Hockey
Formerly known as 'Mini Lights', this program will develop skating & hockey skills at all levels and will introduce real game experiences.
Schedule
Saturday and/or Sunday mornings at 8:00 AM - 8:50 AM (1x or 2x per week options)
12-week seasons:
Session 1: Sept 27th – Dec 13th (no class Nov 29–30)
Session 2: Jan 10th – Mar 29th
$200 (one day) per player/session.
$375 (both days) per player/session.
Includes player jersey.
Next Stride - Skills & Scrimmages
Take the next stride to Northern CT Hockey's House program! Your player will refine their skills and gain real game play. Twice weekly skills practices will focus on agility, edges, puck control, passing, and shooting. Sunday sessions will combine skills with cross ice games.
Schedule
Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday
Session 1: Sept 27th - December 17th (no class November 29-30)
Session 2: Jan 7th - March 29th
$695 per player / per session
Includes player jersey
